Custom link
Give a form a readable URL slug instead of the random public id.
How it works#
A readable slug gives a form a friendly path — like yourdomain.com/contact-us — instead of a random id. Slugs apply to a connected custom domain; your form always keeps its halloform.com/f/… link too.
Set a slug#
- Connect and verify a custom domain first (see the Custom domain guide).
- Open the form's Share page — the Custom domain card lists a slug field per form.
- Type your slug (letters, numbers and dashes); it saves automatically.
Slugs are routing keys, so each one is unique. If a slug is taken, pick another. Cloned forms don't inherit the original's slug.
On a custom domain#
If you've connected a custom domain, you can also set a per-domain slug for each form on the Custom domain settings page — that's the path respondents use at yourdomain.com/your-slug.
